Sep 19, 2009 - "Low kt tests more or less look the same." No they do not. Each one is unique and of the films I have seen they all look different, enough so that they can be identified.
nukepwetty Says:
Sep 19, 2009 - then how can you say the fireball looks like another nuke test
billy2bob Says:
Sep 19, 2009 - They didn't. A lot of these people died of cancer years later.
billy2bob Says:
Sep 19, 2009 - I wonder how much cumulative radiation was released in the US from all of those Nevada Test Site detonations as compared to Chernobyl.

Sep 28, 2009 - the fireballs all look more or less the same. A massive ball of fire is a massive ball of fire; they are only really distinguishable by their size. It's the mushroom clouds that differ noticeably. And they all do, yield, wind, precipitation, delivery method, weapon design, etc. all affect the mushroom cloud.

BoyScout1960 Says:
Oct 7, 2009 - This test proved conclusively the existence of the "Precursor Wave," and that a smaller yield explosion would do more damage to equipment on the ground than a larger yield from higher up. I've actually seen the "Atomic Cannon." It's quite impressive.

PsycheDelectic Says:
Nov 8, 2009 - Is this what the fireball looked like in the hiroshima and nagasaki bombings? the only images they have are of the cooled down mushroom cloud of smoke, but no fireball. Did it look like the one from the atomic cannon?
Kvock Says:
Nov 8, 2009 - It may have, this test is only .3KT less than the bomb dropped on Hiroshima. But then again, no two explosions look alike.
panacea999 Says:
Nov 9, 2009 - This has go to be one of the most dangerous test for the personnel: what if the shell exploded in the barrel?

Nov 16, 2009 - This is why the world is going to end Very soon United States Roughly 5,000 active Fission/Nuclear Weapons Russia Roughly 6,000 Active Fission/Nuclear Weapons It will only take 80-90 nuclear explosions to destroy everyone on the Face of the Planet.
GilbertsonDerick Says:
Nov 17, 2009 - Every nation depends on one another too much for an all-out nuclear holocaust. Money runs the world, so as long as we're all financially connected, such devastation is highly unlikely. The reason for the large number of nuclear weapons is because of the retarded ideology of who ever has the most firepower has the bigger balls. Yep, even the world's superpowers act like 14 year old boys.
cheeseisreallyhot Says:
Nov 17, 2009 - What if a country like North Korea decides to fire one of their dirty Nukes into South Korea, or What if Pakistan Nukes India, and then India Fires back into Pakistan? They aren't as financially connected to the rest of the world as some of the bigger Nuclear powers. The United States is also allied with Pakistan, so that could get messy.
