Maybe in one genre, but there is a whole world out there of music to explore. When I was a kid, Jimi Hendrix was the only guitar player. One of my friends who was a total Hendrix junkie gave me Lee Ritenour's Portrait. I thought he was nuts. Then, I listened to White Water. Needless to say, my music taste has exploded since then. Hendrix is great, but there are others....

Nov 19, 2009 - if you really want to get into it there is not best. we can say there is but even if everyone agreed on one person being the best they still wouldn't be. yeah i listen to a good variety of music too but i have still never found someone as magical as hendrix, no one that can make me want to cry and completely relaxed at the same time, no one else that has made me want to explode with passion and just stare in amazement at the same time.
