Nov 21, 2009 - Won't have as much battery life. The E2 probably is lighter per lumens. With flashlights on the market today, this hack is plain stupid.

Patricknows Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - @highonhayek I have a Streamlight brand flashlight that was about 100 bucks. Came with to battery packs and a charger. When you have to carry a flashlight all day at work and after you have broken a couple Mag lights 100 bucks for a flashlight that always works and is really bright isn't much
KaptainKoolz Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - i can see this light lasting about a month...surefire lights are amazingly built...i have used them as hammers, car and truck wheel stops...gone diving with them, dropped them in the hot tub, in the mud dropped from 1 story onto concrete...etc! had it for 6 years with ZERO problems, you can spend 10 bucks on this thing...about 10 times, or buy 1 surefire
