Oct 10, 2009 - Matlike1, you nailed it! I first heard them when I was 10 years old in 1973 and have been a fan ever since. These guys just blew me away with the music. I just don't get the "bands" out there today. What appeals to me was how wild and powerful and yet polished they were back then. A real rock band. Just don't think the new Skynyrd is as good.
