Nov 9, 2009 - I think that's me at 0:44. I don't remember much, because I may have taken something before the concert that made me feel good.

Nov 16, 2009 - Sorry, but Clapton and Baker are so overrated.

bobbycratchit Says:

Nov 17, 2009 - I've always loved clapton. But could you be right? Sure. Why not? But overrated in what? skill? influence? vision?

TimPriceJazz Says:

Nov 17, 2009 - Great band gell-and the music excels. Really one of my favs from that era.

bushdogg121 Says:

Nov 17, 2009 - Get the hell out of here lets hear one reason why clapton is overrated

jamey523 Says:

Nov 17, 2009 - if you think baker is overrated, you've never seen him play. i saw him play four DIFFERENT rhythms with each limb, most folks can't even pat their head and rub their belly. clapton, well...i've never seen him live.

dizzarch1 Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - "Overrated"? A bit abstract for proving. But many listeners feel that Clapton's competence represses his musicality. Few players can produce the variance of sound that Clapton can within narrow ranges of movement on the neck. But I think that in periods of addiction and grief, Clapton is a much more interesting guitar player: other times, he just seems like one of the most competent noodlers on the planet. Compare the consistent elegance and emotion of Alvin Lee and George Harrison.

dizzarch1 Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - But I think cyn33667 nailed it - music is expression. If what Clapton or Beck say with their fingers orThe Game says with his voice gets to you, that's really what matters. Obvious, but that's why anyone is on about any of this to begin with.

ElectricCandleLight Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - I cant believe he called Eric overrated aaqaaqaaqaaqaaqaaqaa did you even here that solo from eric on thhis video?! that was the creamiest most expresivve solo ive ever heard!!! MAN!

tmmmviii Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - Thanks a lot for posting this. Absolutely incredible. Winwood can't quite get the high notes, but it is wonderful to see them play so well together. This looks to be the same concert at which they gave a phenomenal performance of Presence of the Lord.

1983platypus Says:

curtnevan Says:

Nov 24, 2009 - British Blues at it's best. Cream, Traffic and Blind Faith (all intertwined) are so good as to be timeless, and notice how tight they were in a live, open setting. Winwood's voice is special and unforgettable. Thanks for putting these up!
