savedaaworld Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - yes I do I listen to talented inspired musicians like David Bowie, and Jimi Hendrix. These guys get up on stage and play 3 or for notes and call it music
flyingblind92 Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - so u dont like this music and u like david bowie but instead of listening to david bowie you go to other videos and comment them saying that you dont like the music what is the point?

Nov 22, 2009 - Last Nite certainly isn't an accurate representation of the Strokes' talent. It is still a good listen though. Hendrix is, and will forever be, an over-hyped guitarist. Bowie is fun for the most part.

Nov 23, 2009 - I don't really think you can rate musicians on a linear scale, but rather you have to consider the style and genre, and also whether they're bringing anything new and exciting (within their genre, not to the universal philosophy of music). I think David Bowie did, i also think Jimmy Hendrix did. And so did The Strokes. What you're debating here is whether or not you like what they're doing within their genre. Either than, or you look at music from a strictly "how complex is it" point of view.

Nov 23, 2009 - Hmm. Well. The fact is, this is a really good song. I just read through all the comments, it's very easy to see who's not a musician. This is plenty of talent in this song. As a matter of fact, the solo itself is not that "easy" (there's much easier solos than this). I think it sounds very classical rock and roll

Nov 23, 2009 - But it is music. Even if they play 3 notes. It's all about composer and synchronization.
