Aug 16, 2007 - What a thrill. Grace said it real well. Hot F#n Tuna! I was at that show. Jorman came to life at that point of the concert. Good Sherpard was also great to hear with Grace Paul and Marty backing Jorma. Jefferson Airplane was it for me as a kid.

Aug 16, 2007 - having seen this exactly once 18 years ago, its so wonderful to be able to have this on hand. thanks for posting and thanks to youtube. jorma gets the last word on the airplane - paul's out in space, marty's gone surfing, grace figures what the fuck, jack carries on and spencer leaves them wondering...

Aug 19, 2007 - what a sexy special guest!

Aug 23, 2007 - I WAS IN THE FRONT ROW! This was unbelieveable to me at the time... I couldn't believe it was happening and I was there. LISA WHERE ARE YOU???

WEIR4EVER Says:

Sep 21, 2007 - IF ONLY I COULD LIVE TO SEE THE DAWNING OF THE DAWN.... or rather if i could live only for that! To see the beauty, in the world and my fellow humans.... I haven't changed much inside since this song came out.... when i was 13 ! LOVE TO ALL

Oct 31, 2007 - This from the Airplanes reunion tour 1989, I saw them at Saratoga Performing Arts I'd say with in a few days of this show...Hot Tuna opened the second set and Grace joined them for this song...Hot F"""ing Tuna!

Sep 1, 2008 - Maybe the JA's greatest song--and inarguably the ONLY post-"Volunteers" tune that's worth a damn!

Ronnie7311 Says:

Sep 25, 2008 - I would give anything to have just one more Jefferson Airplane album. *sigh* This song touches so deep

Jan 29, 2009 - Well, I'd argue differently, but you're entitled to your opinion.

MWLUCKY Says:

Apr 11, 2009 - one of the most honest songs written about life on the road. I had the pleasure of being at this show, the last great gasp of an amazing band.

May 13, 2009 - great so great.. in 1980 i lived 6weeks at the chelsea hotel and worked mornings making salad at the roxy roller rink, and scooped ice cream at 2 sisters icecream parlor on 9th ave.. oftentimes sid and nancy would come by on their way home to pick up a shake and a cone . this brings it all back...

hotftuna1 Says:

Jun 3, 2009 - Jorma wrote this song about feeling unfulfilled playing with the airplane! Listen to the lyrics and the the time the song was written. God bless Hot "F"Tuna still playing today.........

StatenIslandFolkie Says:

Aug 4, 2009 - Hey, don't forget "When The Earth Moves Again," "Rock and Roll Island," "War Movie," "Mexico," "Wild Turkey," "Have You Seen The Saucers?" and "Eat Starch Mom." LONG JOHN SILVER is pretty dubious, but BARK has some of their best cuts.

hftaom14 Says:

Aug 16, 2009 - at this show grace finally had to face the reality that jorma had outlasted her and kudos for grace's balls to sing jorma's explanation for ja's end

Sep 19, 2009 - I was at this show. It was an Airplane reunion, but it was all about Jorma and Jack.

tullist Says:

Sep 22, 2009 - Jorma and Jack were far and away the saving grace of this largely ill advised reunion that I saw in Chicago and Milwaukee. Jorma and Jack were something quite like religious, per normal. During the Airplane did they have 2 extra guitarists and whoever that guy from Indiana is, his drummer, sorry, not Airplane worthy, why they could not have a go with strictly original people, and the then living though allegedly addled Skip Spence I donno.

dullsvillain Says:

Nov 11, 2009 - Be sure to see " Crown of Creation" from this show.....
