Nov 8, 2009 - Every AEG is lipo ready. Any AEG can handle a 7.4v lipo. However, KWAs definitely are a heck of a lot more durable than most guns. The Gen 2 isn't of amazing quality, the stock hop up chambers on their G36s/XM8s are horrible. They are decent guns, but definitely not of amazing quality.

Nov 8, 2009 - AIRSOFTGI WHY DID YOU MAKE THE G4 SERIES MORE EXPENSIVE WITH BLOWBACK, no one wants this because it limits their upgradeabiltiy and wastes battery power
Jarek4 Says:
Nov 8, 2009 - lipo ready refers to being stable enough to use a 11.1v lipo so no, not all guns are, most aren't. Also, their hop up chambers are of amazing quality in their G36 variants. No idea what you are talking about.

Nov 8, 2009 - IT INCREASES REALISM!!! and it doesnt waste much
AirsoftxAssasin Says:
Nov 8, 2009 - ...and they break more often.
AirsoftxAssasin Says:
Nov 8, 2009 - i honestly dont care 30 dollars and 300 milliamps for realism
Stealthmaster15 Says:
Nov 9, 2009 - That's what is assumed, but lipo ready could refer to any kind of lipo. In SRCs.......nope. Take out the hop up chamber, the hop up arm will have a few millimeters of play on each side. Don't believe, talk to a few members on ASF. Every SRC owner but one has said their hop up is the same. (the hop up arm has a lot of play)
Stealthmaster15 Says:
Nov 9, 2009 - At certain settings, the hop up arm will be leaning sideways, so it indents the bucking sideways, which then causes the bbs to have a sidespin that takes affect around 130+ feet.
Jarek4 Says:
Nov 9, 2009 - I'm not sure where they got their's, but every SRC G36 variant I've gotten from TSD and sold haven't had that problem. I still use the standard hop up unit in my custom XM8 which I'll be making videos on soon.
Stealthmaster15 Says:
Nov 9, 2009 - Airsoftgi and Ontargetairsoft. It's not the place where they were ordered, it's just a design flaw. I'm telling you, take apart your hop up chamber and you will see that the hop up arm has a few millimeters of play on each side. They still haven't fixed the issue. It can work fine at a certain settings but other settings (especially when adjusted with a good amount of hop) will get a sidespin. They curve like crazy around 140 feet.
Treembea Says:
Nov 9, 2009 - ok, easy killer, thats you, some people prefer realism over practicality, i could use either, i prefer realism but am willing to use non-blowbacks if it means a blowback wont get the distance, anyway, yea its just a personal matter, i would do it, you wouldnt do it i assume, others would and wouldnt, so im going to shut up now
Jarek4 Says:
Nov 9, 2009 - And I'm telling you I sell these and I have never had any issue. I've done hours of work on loads of SRC's G36's and variants. Including a custom XM8 for myself which I still use the same hop up chamber without a problem
Stealthmaster15 Says:
Nov 9, 2009 - Have you checked the hop up arm for play though.....
Jarek4 Says:
Nov 9, 2009 - I've done everything to them. My XM8 is firing at 350fps with 1600 rpm using an 11.1v lipo and I still use the stock hop up. I'll upload a video soon. Atleast I will when portland decides to stop having crappy weather. Which is like, never
Stealthmaster15 Says:
Nov 9, 2009 - Everyone I've talked to (except you and some other guy) have said the chamber sucks. Weird.
Jarek4 Says:
Nov 9, 2009 - very weird. I haven't talked to anyone that hasn't liked it. Unless they got the older stuff
Stealthmaster15 Says:
Nov 9, 2009 - People with Gen 3 G36KVs have the same problem I do.

Nov 21, 2009 - You're an ignorant moron, the blowback isnt battery powered and it doesnt "Limit upgradablility" its the same gun with a differant cylinder and a pnuematic blowback piston on top.

Nov 22, 2009 - How am i an ignorant moron. I didnt have the amount of info on the subject so i was confused. Grow up and stop freaking out.
jchoo34 Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - Do you think it is safe to use a 11.1V tripanel lipoly on this? I mean like an 8.4 mini doesnt even fit in the handguard.

Stealthmaster15 Says:
Nov 8, 2009 - Yeah, if i was looking for an MP5, I would definitely be considering an ICS.
