That was his rendition of a stereotypical American. I may be wrong, but if you listen closely, the voice does sound like Aiden Turner's (timbre, pitch, his manner of speech, etc.).

Sep 28, 2009 - That wouldn't surprise me...the accent was wrong from the start. A good try, but brits always over-do the pronunciation of r's. I find these prequels interesting, because they make the show seem like more of a horror show than it really is. This and the Annie prequel were definitely scary.
