Oct 17, 2009 - Net neutrality as a censorship tool? That's the exact opposite of the truth. Net neutrality (banning prioritization of data packets based on content) stops corporate censorship. But I guess that's OK if your spokespeople are bought-and-paid-for.

Slavestorms Says:

Oct 18, 2009 - lOl Rush is going into American history books and they're still trying to put bibles back in the public school indoctrination system to keep fighting the war on Islamic Fundamentalism err Terrorism The bible teaches people to shut up, submit, obey, turn the other cheek, be meek, mild let rulers rule badly because they are divinely ordained Lurk in many of the comments sections of popular videos you will see the ideological insertions by paid agents We will lead every revolution against us

RaisinCain007 Says:

Oct 19, 2009 - Nicely done; thanks!

santanaramostarango Says:

Oct 19, 2009 - I am against having Bibles in public shools. The Bible doesn't say shut up and obey your leader, that should be expected of you already. The Bible is just a set of morals and stories(that I believe are true) and these stories are true or not, the moarals are still there for us to follow.

Slavestorms Says:

Oct 19, 2009 - You don't get your morals from the bible, it gets it's morals from you What do you beLIEve why? Which stories in particular do you beLIEve? Stories like the talking snake in a tree, a young earth creationist, a talking ass, living in the belly of a fish, stopping the sun in the sky, bears kill 42 children for god, global flood and everything in a too small ark, lot gives his daughters to a rape gang and his wife turns to salt, unicorns, walk on water, raise dead, 500 zombies, human sacrifice

Oct 22, 2009 - Excellent. Brings back the memories a few college professors.

songspiritUSA Says:

Oct 22, 2009 - To say that the Bible must be eliminated from public schools is to eliminate many of the best writings of American history which quote therefrom. Criticize people of faith all you want. To eliminate proponents and the Bible itself, however, is itself an imposition of a religious view - that secular agnosticism or atheism is the official government viewpoint, and is thus unconstitutional.

santanaramostarango Says:

Oct 25, 2009 - as long as the teachers say facts and not opinions I think they should keep them

Nov 6, 2009 - Lol - He called it a "war on terror" just like W. Bush did! Terror or Terrorist = I dont know why they are dangerous. Once you know, then they are the Enemy or Enemies. I wonder what the Iraqi's called it? Probably the "American Invasion." Then again, We've invaded so many countries already, maybe it's called "The 31st American Invasion"

Ultrasecond Says:

Nov 10, 2009 - It's nice that this video hypocritically exploits people's ignorance of what the fairness doctrine was, and what net neutrality means while professing that the other side wants them to 'shut up.' Spoiler: They don't. They want more media accountability for dishonest bias - which of course makes the biggest merchants of lying on the airwaves very irate, hence we get more misleading BS like this video.

Ultrasecond Says:

Nov 10, 2009 - Right-wing talk radio monopolies already 'shut up' the liberal side as it is and removing the fairness doctrine allowed conservatives to manipulate the media market to effectively turn 99% of talk radio into a sounding board for their agenda. Television has its problems as well with various channels failing to present an accurate picture of the news and pretenting often very dishonest opinion as fact with no fair chance for the other side or even shades of gray or alternative views to rebut.

Ultrasecond Says:

Nov 10, 2009 - If Glenn Beck or Sean Hannity or Limbaugh etc had to contend with a required-by-law non-token liberal commentator of equal standing to them on their own network/stations in a timeslot just before or after them ready to call them to task on everything they just said it would really take the piss out of their ability to present a myopic distorted one-sided version of reality. The same would work in reverse for liberal commentators who would also have to second guess themselves or be hounded. FAIR

Nov 11, 2009 - net neutrality is a good thing

Nov 12, 2009 - Agreed. .

SAGEBOT500 Says:

Nov 13, 2009 - You should probably cry about it on the Internet some more, that'll help

zero132132 Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - You're lying. The notion that multi-billion dollar spending and taxation is an attempt to destroy the free market is based in ignorance of economics, and the central rationale behind such spending is Keynesian Economics. 500 characters isn't enough to say more, but the point is, when someone tells YOU to shut up, they're probably doing so because you're an idiot, not because you disagree with them. So please, shut the hell up.

zero132132 Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - Also, to anyone who bothers to read these comments, ignore his claims about net neutrality. Net neutrality actually means that all hosts are treated equally by service providers, so that no website is given preferential treatment over another. It doesn't prohibit free speech in any way. When someone claims that it does, they're lying to you, such as the man in this video. If you don't believe me, don't believe him either. Look into it yourself.
