Nov 19, 2009 - Hes playing this song with a baritone guitar, it has a longer scale which allows it to be tuned much lower than standard acoustics, Without getting string buzz :). You can play the song in standard tuning on a normal acoustic but it will be alot higher. x

Nov 22, 2009 - the key is b minor, his low E is dropped and he gives it away by slapping throughout the verses and his harmonics match up with b as the tonic

Nov 23, 2009 - its a baritone actually
thekafer Says:
Nov 23, 2009 - This fits really nicely on a baritone! Standard tuning only lower. Tune a standard guitar this low and the strings get all rattly (unless you use really heavy gage) and you get all these ugly wolf notes because the body is tuned typically to low A for the primary. I love this tune. Good groove.Good job Andy! I gots to try to learn this one!!...
