Nov 10, 2009 - Ultra silly comment. Eric Clapton recorded and made very famous 2 JJ Caler songs: Cocaine, and After Midnight. Clapton was at the very top of the rock pop world in the mid 60s, being called God and playing and recording with the very best, while Cale was totally unknown. I love Cale, but anybody who knows him and that period knows that he was totally obscure until Clapton had a huge hit with Cocaine, and then After Midnight. Very directly, Clapton made JJ's career.
