Nov 11, 2009 - Though I pretty much love everything by BelleSebastian (and especially THE LIFE PURSUIT) I really prefer this version of the song because of the nice musical arrangement (the voicing of the backing-vocals... facemeltig! And the solo voice in the last verse (2:46...) is heaven!) and because that female voice has a... soul-attitude which seems to be a surprisingly good match in a BS-song! Plus... I'm a guy, and the singer is such a natural beauty :o)

Also, I do wish I had known about this and could have auditioned, even though it was obviously fierce competition. I love to sing, and I don't sing like Mariah Carey or any of those types of singers. I am curious to see how this musical turns out!
