I can't say China is a good place to live but i can say it is developing real fast like Japan in the 1960s. Once again, I like Beijing and Shanghai, but plz do something about the street thieves from Uighur.

The east coast probably wouldn't be flooded with thieves if they had more opportunity at home. That said, I never had a single experience with thieves in the 6 months I lived in Beijing. As is the case anywhere, some people get picked because they look like marks. Can't say I feel sorry for them.
