Sep 21, 2008 - I can't really find your comment on mine but I was responding to a person who said that they should invest the money on food instead of the spaceprogram. I therefore said that the USA should not go into war but spend the money they invest in war for food instead. that's all :)

Goodcapcay Says:

Sep 23, 2008 - what if someone steals them?

BritishPatriot88 Says:

Sep 23, 2008 - Well they have trackers on them, and if you steal them your stealing off the US government, so not a good idea, they are not exactly something that is easy to hide either lol.

Oct 9, 2008 - wow. that ground camera have a POWERFUL zoom. anyone knows what kind of camera/lens they use?

frogger832 Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - why does the fuel tank separate so slowly for the shuttle? it's like slow motion

Flashdealer Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - It is slow because the external tank (ET) is already feeling the effects of micro gravity. It will eventually fall back to earth and burn up in the process. Just takes time

franster99 Says:

Oct 11, 2008 - i didn't know they put cameras on the eternal tank

dmix09 Says:

Oct 17, 2008 - such a pathetic technology! jeez, at the tech-advancement rate we were going at in the late 60's, we should've been far beyond this method decades ago!

Ravenflight104 Says:

Oct 17, 2008 - dmix09: should'a ... would'a...could'a..... As Yogi Berra once so wisely stated: " The future ain't what it used to be ". You ever seen 2001, A Space Odyssey ? That was supposed to have been seven years ago. Well, we did build the shuttle, but now we're going back to Apollo technology. Now that's progress.

dmix09 Says:

Oct 17, 2008 - lol yea i did see it. besides conventional electronics, i don't think we will be much more advanced twenty or even thirty years from now. its as if all of it came to a complete halt in past few decades. i wouldn't be surprised if much of it is being suppressed...

Ravenflight104 Says:

Oct 17, 2008 - dmix :From what I've seen over time, society itself is holding things back. From the time of the early space program,it was the people who cheered Kennedy in his moon speech. They wanted to go to space. It was a " can do " generation. Today, many people have become so cynical ( some on these commentaries, for instance) that its become the " can't do " generation. Denying the moon landings is evidence of this. They have no aspirations, only critisisms, even of good stuff in the past, like Apollo.

dmix09 Says:

Oct 18, 2008 - absolutely. there is so much negativity bouncing around due to this "can't do" attitude we've all adopted and have been conditioned to; inevitably resulting in this gloomy world-wide discouragement we have today. i couldn't agree with you more..
