You don't see people check the runways of Russian airfields for debris like they do over here and that's because they don't need to, Russian aircraft can handle that and still fly on.

During its development things changed and the Soviet mil no long needed it for its present ever changing strategies and developments. Lets give credit when its due. That chopper has got some BALLS! LOL! and remains the LARGEST heli in history. Fortunately one was sold to a company who converted it to a hotel two stories high. Check it out...its AWESOME!
