Feb 19, 2009 - I have yet to see a ski movie as good as this. When it came out, it was all I watched and it even changed the music I listened to for some time.

Mar 29, 2009 - Fantastic - absolute pleasure to see this. Takes me way back I'm an old school extreme skier - used to blast everywhere on my 200cm K2 Extremes when I was a fit young man :) Would love to find clip of Scott Schmidt skiing to Seal - 'Crazy'

Apr 17, 2009 - Fond memories. I used to watch this and his other films all night, amping up to rip on my 204 VO-Slaloms all the next day. The closest I ever came to anything like this stuff was New Hampshire's Tuckerman Ravine. But, hey, a 50 degree slope is a 50 degree slope, no matter where you are. Thanks for posting this. I miss those days.

May 8, 2009 - Agree with all the previous comments, this the best ski movie of all time. While working in Aviemore in the late 80's my friends and I would watch it constantly for inspiration, which was a little dangerous as Scottish conditions were not condusive to the smear turn. It did inspire us to go to Chamonix next season, however it was the worst season in Chamonix for 20 years didn't snow at all in January.

May 25, 2009 - Scott Schmidt skiing to Seal's Crazy (by the way, also quite possibly my favourite clip of any film of all time) is the very end of Groove Requiem, another Stump film. They're skiing out of the Tsaina Lodge, Valdez, Alaska.

Jun 14, 2009 - "Absolutely Immune II", to be exact (one of a couple of 12" remixes of "Absolutely Immune"). I believe it's now available on iTunes.

Jun 14, 2009 - Stump's movies are what renewed my interest in music. For years I'd visit every record store I could, from Paris to Sydney, trying to get hold of some of the music he used in his films. I've pretty much found it all at this point, but it was great fun hunting for all of those records (and discovering other music along the way). Oh, and Bob Thompson is still one of my favourite guitarists ever. His playing on "Good, The Rad..." is killer. Still waiting for Maltese Flamingo on DVD!

Jul 24, 2009 - I can still remember how stoked I was when I managed to snag a copy of this VHS back in the day. Watching it was like a curtain being lifted. THAT'S THE SORT OF SKIING I WANT TO DO. None of this cornball hotdogging or gate bashing. Awesome.
