Jul 18, 2009 - if im right i think it is a usual glass ball which is hollow and has an entery to it, you know when you put a jug in the water upside down and then fill it up the you pull it up and you can still see the water i think that is how it is done and then have suports so it doesnt fall down and loose water!!! if you know what i mean

Sep 12, 2009 - Such a simple idea. Only question that I could have is regarding trapped air bubbles. Look at the very first pearl. Up the top there is a bubble. Such bubbles I think could be created by bacteria in the substrate, or even carried by the fish themselves after surface feeding. I suppose the main question is, how would you get that bubble out? I have no idea...
