Jan 15, 2009 - Nehru, Gandhi, etc., all contributed, but Bose delivered the last and fatal measureable death blow to the British in India. Bose is the real freedom fighter that gave India its Independence. Why are Boses contributions so unknown and not recognized even by many Indians? Why is there no Bose memorial and why does his image not appear on any Indian currency? It is time we correct this horrible mistake and recognize Bose.

Jan 15, 2009 - Boses army lost at the Battle of Imphal and Kohima to the British. The British ordered executions of the captured Indian officers. This upset even Indians who served for the British. The mutiny was so strong the British realized their time in India was over. What Boses army could not achieve in victory, it actually achieved in defeat! Quite an amazing twist of irony.
