Nov 18, 2009 - what the hell??!?!!? does anyone know of any video of this show with the old host?? befor bbc took it over and it became gay

PsyduckRanger Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - @REKONBALL2 You, sir, are a fool. Anne Robinson is the original host, and the BBC did not "take over", it is a BBC programme. The American version I'm sure you're used to is based on this, not the other way round, just like your American Idol was based on our Pop Idol (you see, we didn't need to specify which country because ours came first). Furthermore, "gay" is a juvenile term to mean what you're using it for. Never mind the fact that the English version is far better than the American.

REKONBALL2 Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - lol. you are an idiot. america had both of those first!! look it up!! and you think english version is better than the american one????! that is a joke!! like when that old bitch pulls the cord? i mean that was not funny at all!! on american game shows they make jokes and stuff. i mean if you grew up watching america stuff you would know what i mean by yous stuff being gay and not funny.

PsyduckRanger Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - Once again, you're wrong. Weakest Link UK premiered 14th August 2000, the US version premiered 16th April 2001. Why don't YOU look it up, it says right at the top of the wiki page. Pop Idol debuted 5th October 2001, American Idol on June 11th 2002. Ever notice how Simon Cowell is English? But yes, his first TV programme would be American.

PsyduckRanger Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - Furthermore, a great deal of American programmes are imported, especially cartoons, so I HAVE grown up watching American TV. Yes, it can be funny, but it's nothing compared to the witty sophistication of English humour. Just because you, sir, are too ignorant to appreciate it.

REKONBALL2 Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - no i just dont think its very funny. im sorry thats just my opinion, i really cant stand it. but thats ok, i dont have to like it, and you CAN like it. so lets just end the argument.

kargomail Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - questions so easy wow dey dumb

shoppermania Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - was it your idea to be sexy in the show?

homestar4ever Says:

Nov 22, 2009 - English humor is less corny than American humor and American humor is funny in many cases. I do agree English humor is more sophisticated than American humor, buy the way I'm from America.TEXAS no less, and rekonball2 isn't very intelligent or appreciative of the many good television shows England has given us. all in all, English television is good but so are a lot of American shows. it kind of blows that we can't have a youtube video with random arguing

kazumakiryuisgreat Says:

Nov 22, 2009 - sly on K-9 :( i wanted him to win!

DarogaDaae Says:

Nov 22, 2009 - Agreed, agreed, and... agreed. Also from Texas, by the way. I kinda wish that there were more BBCA channels, honestly. While I'm thinking about it, maybe a couple of good words for British humor against American humor is it's more subtle, and more cerebral.

DarogaDaae Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - @PsyduckRanger You, sir, are my hero.

homestar4ever Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - me to! its great that we get a lot of the shows we get!

DarogaDaae Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - No doubt about that... Still, if a little is good, then more is better.

DarogaDaae Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - I'm sure there are many, many women (and men) who agree that David is very, very sexy... *mops drool of of keyboard*

homestar4ever Says:

Nov 24, 2009 - you got that right! I hope we can get a few more shows next year

DarogaDaae Says:

Nov 24, 2009 - I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Black Adder, Blackpool, and Torchwood...
