Sep 13, 2009 - He was talking about Murdock taking over the newspaper not N.Ireland .
tinygirl505 Says:
Sep 14, 2009 - Yes, but it's _funnier_ to think that Northern Ireland's integrity could ever be destroyed...

Sep 16, 2009 - Its nice to know such journalists actually exist! Well done , thanks for the video.

Sep 19, 2009 - Why is the stupidest comment on here rated four thumbs up while all of the constructive comments are being voted down?
MrNewchange Says:
Sep 21, 2009 - Fisk is probably the most famous 9/11 truther
CharlesDickens99 Says:
Sep 22, 2009 - Fisk a 9/11 truther? Thats a laugh. Fisk actually said that George Bush screwed up everything hes done. Do you really think he could have pulled off 9/11?
MrNewchange Says:
Sep 22, 2009 - Fisk is a truther, but an untypically weaselly one. Rather than stating his theories, he instead raises "scientific" questions about 9/11
CharlesDickens99 Says:
Sep 22, 2009 - In Fisks latest book The Age of the Warrior, he writes this factual inaccuracy. Shakespeare lived at a time when the largely Muslim Ottoman Empire then at the zenith of its power, remained an existential if not a real threat for Europeans. In 1565, one year after the birth of Shakespeare (1564), the Turkish Ottomans besieged Malta and were defeated by the Knights Hospitallers of St John. When Queen Elizabeth I heard of this she ordered all the church bells in Britain rung.
CharlesDickens99 Says:
Sep 22, 2009 - Fisk is also ignorant of examples of Ottoman aggression such as The Breaking of the Siege of Vienna (14th, October 1529) The Battle of Lepanto (7th of October, 1571) The Battle of Khotyn (9th of October, 1621) The Battle of Vienna (11th of September, 1683)
Justforkix11315 Says:
Sep 24, 2009 - Bush doesnt have to plan it fool. He just has to agree to it. Get it? I cant out it any simpler
drgoodvibesxxx Says:
Sep 28, 2009 - well that is not entirely true. fisk does not focus on battles which are a part of history but he focuses on Holocausts. To be exact he goes into detail about the one perpetrated by the ottomans against the armenians. I honestly don't think fisk is a truther but he does raise questions which everyone free thinking person has about 9/11.
CharlesDickens99 Says:
Sep 28, 2009 - Why? Because we live in an age addicted to infantile conspiracy theories. These have become a substitute for genuine education. They make people feel knowledgeable when, in fact, they are ignorant.

Oct 3, 2009 - Its interesting when he mentons "hes amazed the muslim world hasnt reacted more"...and more 9/11's will happen. Well....if Iran is invaded then people in the west will experience war because Iran will strike back.
raist2 Says:
Oct 17, 2009 - Excellent interview. Fisk's book "The Great War For Civilization" is a must read for anyone interested in the Middle East and the current situation there.
tomestubbs Says:
Oct 19, 2009 - I'll second that! He is brilliant and an excellent writer.
tomestubbs Says:
Oct 19, 2009 - ritualflunk. Better an opened mindd fair-minded liberal than a dogmatic Reich Wing-nut!
tomestubbs Says:
Oct 19, 2009 - You certainly were not there! RF is about first hand experience in war zones, the failure of the human spirit (War defined as by RF), and will reflect on history accurately when needed especially the British and American empires. Have you read The Great War for Civilisation?

Oct 20, 2009 - i love when he tells of the interviewer! proper order!

Oct 22, 2009 - Harry Kreisler please let the man talk! you interrupt him too much!

elgatto9 Says:
Sep 10, 2009 - I agree that Fisk moralises, but since his moralising is in relation to mass murder which he has witnessed with his own eyes, I don't think that that is a bad thing. Be it lower-middle class, prim or self-righteous moralising, play on, I say! Give me excess of it! Never read a word of his theorising on conspiracies, can you give me some examples?
