Apr 24, 2009 - im in a wheelchair and i've been playing for 5 years. The word is able bodied not Normal. I find that really fucking offensive. Wheelchair players caqn accomplish anything an ABLE BODIED person can. Esther is probably just as good as Roger Federer.

May 5, 2009 - i see where you are comming from but federer would easily beat her. you cant put your weight into the ball so you cant hit as hard. and obviously you movement is a bit slower since you actually have to turn around. no offence dude, i mean i play tennis and i cant imagine how hard it would be to play in a wheelchair. it must be really tough. good luck with your tennis! just saying, like girls and guys tennis, there is a noticable difference

May 26, 2009 - I totally agree with your comment about "normal" Unfortunately because most people are able-bodied, sometimes people say insensitive things without malice. I have just found this lady on wikipedia... I never heard of her... and she is an absolute legend who needs far more press than she gets! And I agree that disabled people can achieve amazing things, and nobody would question her mental capabilities. But beating Federer... really? I don't mean to be rude, but... Impossible. Much Love.

May 26, 2009 - She's hot. And the most dominant professional sportsperson of all time in any sport. In my opinion.

Doochahh Says:
Jul 2, 2009 - Im sorry but no. A wheelchair bound person cannot achieve EVERYTHING an able bodied person can. Someone who is not confined to a wheelchair can do more. Thats just the way it is.
McDuck1000 Says:
Jul 4, 2009 - No, that is not just the way it is. Attitudes like that make people feel disabled. You just need a bit of imagination.
manco82 Says:
Jul 4, 2009 - Wow she could beat Federer!
1985OMD Says:
Jul 5, 2009 - These people's attitude is ginormously admirable. Sometimes we feel like dying and we can walk and these athletes show us that life is beautiful when you make it worthwhile. Congratulations, you're proper go-getters
cenamad Says:
Jul 9, 2009 - i dont think she could beat Federer his serve would outbeat her wheelchair. not in a bad way i love wheelchair tennis. but Federer will have the advantage.
DIANAROSS4EVER Says:

Sep 19, 2009 - They should have power-features on the wheelchair that would propel them up in the air for a 'Sampras dunk'!
