Nov 22, 2009 - If that is true... then why did crime go up when the D.C. banned guns?
sosministriesrev1412 Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - Gun free zone (gun control) at Virginia Tech cost the lives of 32 people because their 2nd amendment right was INFRINGED. Dr. Suzanne Hupps parents and 20 others in a Texas cafe died because the law(gun control) said people were not permitted to carry a concealed weapon inside public buildings gun had to be left in car. Which by the way Blame could of being stolen. Once again a violation of the 2nd amendment. l do agree with background check plus storage but crims dont care about the law
sosministriesrev1412 Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - (continue) l repeat Gun Control advocates are not interested in sensible requiremants, just prohibition. The fact is my guns are stored in a safe which l don't disagree with, BUT if a crim broke into my house and he was armed it would take me 10-15 seconds to get my guns on a good day, thats 10-15 seconds advantage the crim has over me which could mean the difference between life death despite the best intentions of the storage requirements. l've been specific factual on this.
sosministriesrev1412 Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - The USA is blessed to have the bill of rights paticurely the 1st 2nd Amendments. From what l have researched OBAMA seems to have a dislike to the 2nd amendment, and it seems many democrats think the same. Thats very concerning which only seems to back my claims that gun control advocates only want to ban them. It is the same here in Australia, gun control advocates wan't all guns to be taken, this may not happen but it will not stop them from trying.
sosministriesrev1412 Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - Firearms are very important in a free society, in the hands of law abiding people they tip the balance of power against the criminal element. Democratically elected govermant have nothing to fear from good citizens having guns. Whether people choose to believe this or not, research decide. Disarmenant of civilian populations is a U.N mandate, and a mandate that should NOT be forced upon free nations like the USA and Australia.
chinesedevildog Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - First of all you fucking idiot, when you say there are people like me in this world, get used to it, more and more are starting to think the way that I do. Second, until you put on a badge like I do and fight the black market then shut the fuck up!!! Third, Cho can have a long ass bg check on him, and all the mental evaluations in the world, its just like what ICECOLDBEER said If some shrink says a person can't own a gun what will stop them from buying a gun illegally? You dumb piece of shit!!!
chinesedevildog Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - And you are anti- self defense, you want the victims to be left defenseless.
chinesedevildog Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - You were never in the military. I was in the Marines for 4 years. If you were in the military, you were one of those lost ones, couldn't pass the PFT, I know you couldn't shoot. The only thing you were good for was jumping on a grenade.
wakejoe Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - No, we should enforce the one's we have. I know you're trying to be pretentious, but you're failing. When I first started talking with you, you were intelligent and interesting. Now you're just recycling the same old crap over and over. That's not his logic. That's the logic you want him to have, to fit better with your agenda.
billburns2 Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - The real truth about gun control - the bit that neither side wants to hear - is that theses laws make absolutely no difference to violent crime rates. Both the UK and Australia have tried it without success. It has made no difference EITHER WAY (that's the important bit, btw). Look at the real numbers and it's clear that crimes that rose post-ban were already rising and crimes that fell post-ban were already declining. Gun laws are simply knee-jerk politics.
TheSpeed0fDarkness Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - Of course gun-control increases crime. Look at the records from the Justice Dept. and the FBI! The more guns there are, the more crimes are thwarted by people defending themelves. The facts are there! Gun-control makes crime go up! Look at UK and Australia, highest industrialized crime rates.
billburns2 Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - This is another urban myth propogated by the NRA who seem to want people to live in fear. I suggest you DO look at the FBI and DoJ figures - as well as UK Home Office and Auzzie ABS- you'll see that there is absolutely NO evidence that supports these claims.
DJSedSo Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - Interesting, billburns2. If I'm reading your comments here correctly, then I must ask: Was crime in--let's say--Kennesaw, Georgia already declining before mandatory gun ownership was implemented in 1982? I ask because it's my understanding that crime rates tended to drop in states that developed "shall issue" laws. Am I right if I say that John Lott Jr.'s "More Guns, Less Crime" proves this point (if you've heard and/or read this book)?
HAILFROMTHE941 Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - Um, I live in a $400k house with 4 cars.
Jurassic0Al Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - An excellent video, and one I agree with completely. Isn't it also interesting that the most heavily armed schools- Virginia Military Institute, The Citadel, the US Service Academies, and various middle to high school military academies have quite possibly *never* had a shooting?
BlameRepublicans Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - Back at your old hobby of spreading lies, eh? USA = 33,000 deaths by firearm per year. In the EU it's 1,200. Gun control works. Your lies don't.
BlameRepublicans Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - There's no proof of your statement. I'm willing to entertain it as true for them moment however and say allowing 33,000 Americans (many of whom are children) to die needlessly just so your lawn mower isn't ripped off is not a moral route to travel.
DJSedSo Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - "USA =33,000 deaths by firearm per year." Which, of course, are not homicides/murders by firearm alone, BlameRepublicans.
icecoldbeerr Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - Have you not figured out that Blamerepublicans is a troll and is just trying to get a reaction from ppl, and piss people off? This is some child that gets his kicks from trolling youtube. Look at the comment he left on my page. He is the first troll I've met that is proud to be a troll, and proud to lead such a boring miserable life. He said he was glad the fort hood soldiers were killed, then said he was in the army. Classic troll, stop feeding him.
icecoldbeerr Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - Why do you care so much about US gun laws? You have been arguing gun control for 6 months that I know of, every time I see a gun control video I see you arguing in the comments section. Over in the UK in your perfect little world do you have nothing better to do? You should seek help. You seem to have an unnatural obsession with Americans.
BlameRepublicans Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - Dead is dead. The loved ones of 30,000 Americans sides with me every year. So if on September 11th 2001 Al Qaeda said we sent 3,000 Americans to heaven. You would accept this and not look for justice?
BlameRepublicans Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - Hey - Trolls have feelings too. I like how the right wingers sign off on 30,000 Americans every year by ignoring the 2nd Amendment but they try to make us into the criminals! Gun control now or gun ban later.
BlameRepublicans Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - The average cost per shooting is $22,400 for unintentional shooting and $18,400 each for gun assault injury. Indirect Cost $2.8 Million per fatality $249,000 per hospitalization for gunshot victim, $73,000 per emergency room visit for released gunshot victims. Estimated Annual Treatments for Gunshot Victims: $100-$126 billion per year. And they cry about paying taxes to feed babies.
BlameRepublicans Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - They cry about fudning health care for sick children and then turn around and cost us $126 BILLION just because the cowards lack the balls to go live life. They are fearful sheep.

billburns2 Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - Blamey, you're getting boring now. Anyone who insists on throwing around bullshit stats like this, can offer NO proof of any of them and consistently dodges any efforts or rational debate get categorised as a Waste Of Time. If you won't engage with anyone other that to endlessly repeat your bullshit stats than you're simply taking up space. Go lock yourself in an empty room and argue with the walls.
