Curren and MP were great and they laid the ground work for the modern, progressive surfer. Nov 19, 2009 - r u stupid, forget it anyway it's semantics and it looks more like a rodeo flip, and what I was saying is that the naming of tricks/styles in skateboarding all originally came from surfing (goofy/regular frontside/backside) A trick on a board that can cross over usually retains the name it originated from. i.e. the McTwist which can be done frontside or backside and is a 540 with an inverted flip and Fucking MIKE MCGILL ORIGINATED IT IN 1984. now stfu who cares.
