Poverty, lack of direction and various issues have been reasons for many to not be as educated as others. Chicago is a melting pot from other states and countries, it is a perfect city to argue something like this.

If you build a website dedicated to a cause, raise money for a memorial or a fund, get out and speak to survivors, speak at schools, stand on the corner with a bullhorn, whatever it is you decide is much better then making people think you are an uneducated asshat like I thought you were and I am sure many feel you are. I can sense you are educated so why not enlighten others and keep the history alive?
