Oct 18, 2009 - True, I agree. And they try to proclaim themsleves as direct emissaries or saviors sent by god and what they say or write as tenets, dogmas, dicta are final authority and shall be inviolable and violators shall be persecuted and shall suffer in hellfire, etc. The eight day creationism is enough sample of this religious idiocy. Resurrection is another desecration and insult to human intelligence. Why just one man is son of god and all else are ... what ?
lsjtifo Says:
Oct 18, 2009 - Religions, certainly not Christianity, do not offer any acceptable definitions for any of these, in any case. This is due to the arrogance and self-arrogated authority of a few individuals who have taken to religious propaganda and administration as a job with assured comforts and privacy to do all "anti-god" acts.Simply, love is love of oneself, the consciousness of which is just a spark of a universal consciousness. Reason is what satisfies the condition that self and ecology are in harmony.

Oct 19, 2009 - Cannot debate with you because first you did not answer the question and second you are dead wrong. wordy response but too much subjectivity. You are locked in your flawed reason. last time i read any of your comments you are a waste of time.

Oct 21, 2009 - lol. Hilarious.
lsjtifo Says:
Oct 21, 2009 - Yea, this shows yiour crooked mentality when your overgrown ignorance is exposed. You not me are locked in your subectivity, illusions, and crookedness, a horrible combination....what questions are u referring to ? Love, science, values, reason : you want definitions and sources. I REPEAT EVANGELICALS AND BIBLE ARE IRRELEVANT THERE. What makes you think only Jesus, Christianity are the sources, ignoring that there are other faith systems which are also borne not equally divine. Open your mind.
FSMhasRisen Says:
Oct 22, 2009 - Hawking is an agnostic atheists. Probably a majority of atheist are agnostic atheists. Agnostic Atheist: "I don't think it is possible to verify the existence or non-existence of god. (agnosticism), but, given what I have to go on, I don't believe he exists (atheist)."
SWAC424 Says:
Oct 25, 2009 - We are all by default agnostic.
DeathToAllReligions Says:
Oct 26, 2009 - Then it follows that all religious people are agnostic believers: "I can't possibly provide evidence or logical support for the existence of my imaginary sky-being, but because pretending he exists makes me feel good about myself and my biases, I'm going to pretend he's real." Epic failure.
Dougca1985 Says:
Oct 26, 2009 - na i dont question much...im athiest
FSMhasRisen Says:
Oct 27, 2009 - Well, no actually, because agnosticism, and concept of "evidence" are both subjective. Many theists may think that their holy books legitimately ARE evidence, not appreciating the fallacy. Being subjective though, it doesn't matter that they are wrong. It's about what they THINK they know.
Dougca1985 Says:
Oct 27, 2009 - i cant call myself agnostic..though i had argued in your was many times and i know where you are heading towards...i, of course know that there isnt evidence to disprove a god nor approve of one, but through my own assertions i inevitably believe that there is no god, we all question our beliefs which is good, but at the end, i dont believe in a god or gods
soursourapples Says:
Oct 28, 2009 - why is anyone still debating this? 5 minutes of research will show you that Jesus never existed, no need to intellectualise and mystify the matter!

Americaisgreat123 Says:
Nov 6, 2009 - I think religion is a naturally occurring phenomena under only polytheism. The only historic religion that embraced monotheism is Judaism. Hindu's and Indian tribes made up beliefs. I don't think any evidence shows the Jews were frauds.
cyranothe2nd Says:
Nov 9, 2009 - First, why would monotheism be more true or less natural than polytheism? Second, Dionysian Greeks were monotheist, as were (and are) some Hindus. And then there are the ancient Greek monists, who believes that all essence is one. Monotheism is not unique to Judaism. Third, no one thinks Jews are frauds. They genuinely believe what they believe (most do, at least). They are simply mistaken, just as you think the Hindus and Indian tribes are.

Americaisgreat123 Says:
Nov 13, 2009 - "why would monotheism be more true or less natural than polytheism?" How did monotheism start? How did polytheism start?
Roguegalt1 Says:
Nov 14, 2009 - The sun god was the penultimate monotheistic religion from the early days of man. Pagab is the earliest polytheistic religion
Cyrathil Says:
Nov 19, 2009 - "How did monotheism start? How did polytheism start?" Monotheism started pretty much the same way as Polytheism, even if you take the Genesis view of Judaism's monotheism. A deity, which no one has actually ever seen firsthand, is credited for events which appear to be impossible(the only difference with Polytheism is there are multiple deities) and this deity/these deities get credited for it. Seems about the common trend, that I know of.

a012345 Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - He lost when he always brought up Godwin's argument. You have to be retarded to associate the lack of belief in god with Nazism when clearly they had support from the Vatican. D'Souza is good at attacking using claims that are unsupported. When you do further research into his claims, you know he's full of shit.
