May 2, 2009 - alot of his records still stand today.But all the awards went to the english players like gordie. the hart and art ross trophys all went to gordie when onn paper the rocket had better numbers and won the stanley cups that year.Sorry to rain on the gordie howe parade ,but the rocket deserved alot more and was robbed because of the era.

Jul 27, 2009 - Gordie Howe is a legend. There's a new book out called "Lets Talk Hockey 50 Wonderful debates" that dissects fifty different arguments in the history of hockey. Good read, found it on amazon. Well anyways, Gordie is well represented. I wanted to make sure the author knew what he was talking about and Howe is mentioned tons of times in the book as he should be. Arguably the best player that ever lived. To answer another posters question, Gordie won 4 Cups in total and 3 with Sawchuk

Nov 6, 2009 - Reed Larson, he played a few years for Detroit, but he never won the Stanley Cup. He was inducted in the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame in 1995 and i believe he got the Lester Patrick Trophy aswell some time later
