Nov 23, 2009 - It's about casting the RIGHT actors to play the characters, NOT casting who's hot. Zhang Ziyi wanted to play the main girl in 'Lust, Caution' but Ang Lee politely refused because she wasn't right for the role. He chose Tang Wei and Wong Leehom because they had a certain period quality and looked Southern Chinese, those characters needed to look the part. If Ang Lee was looking for someone to play a character that Takeshi's right for, surely he would pick him. But it hasn't been the case.

I say he should make a movie with a leading man role for Takeshi!!! I think he's not only gorgeous but a great actor too. But I agree with your last part of the comment. I hope he picks him soon!!!
