Dec 1, 2008 - I don't know if it helped him but it sure helped me. Thanks for posting. You might not be a teacher by trade, but this was a great lesson. Nice and slow, showed the song with both hands at the same time, then showed just the left hand, zoomed in on the guitar work. I think these are all the things that go into a good youtube lesson.

kb1056 Says:

Feb 17, 2009 - Sorry - I don't do tab. Keep workin' at it ... it's a great tune and once you get the hammer-on thing going it will get very easy to play.

Jul 7, 2009 - Thanks for the lesson. Very easy to follow. I hadn't played a guitar for 10 years, but was inspired to buy one again after listening to After the Goldrush. I'm delighted to discover that I still ROCK! (With a little help from yourself).

Aug 16, 2009 - Thanks for the great lesson! One question: is there a technique to properly use the signaturefinger in this song. I manage to hit the B-snare off course, but don't seem to get any rhythm out of it.... Tnx!

DarryllorMichael Says:

Aug 17, 2009 - Thanks. Oh no, I've been starting on the chord for 35 years!

DarryllorMichael Says:

Aug 17, 2009 - Sorry - proofread before posting! I've been starting on the wrong chord - C, but doing the G bass walk - your way seems more intuitive. Thumbs up and thanks for your lesson.

kb1056 Says:

Aug 17, 2009 - Yeah - think that NY actually plays this tuned down 1/2 step ... but using the "G" progression ... so that could through you off if playing by ear.

vardamin Says:

Sep 1, 2009 - play the song in whatever key you like

Sep 12, 2009 - Hi, Many thanks for the lesson. I have made good progress thanks to you. The thing I find hard is the right hand. Could you give any tips on how to strum the right hand ? Thanls
