Nov 19, 2009 - @helltrackrider Regarding our tax system and redistribution of wealth, progressive taxes attempt to reduce the impact of taxes for people with a lower ability-to-pay, and shift the impact increasingly to those with a higher ability-to-pay. Does that sound just? That's up to you and me to decide.
brothermikefan Says:
Nov 19, 2009 - @helltrackrider Right now the upper 1% of the population owns more wealth than the bottom 90% combined. In the 60s the top tax rate was 70%, the economy was good and the average CEO to worker salary ratio was 24 to 1. Now the top tax rate is 36%, we have record deficits and record debt, it generally takes two income earners to manage a middle class household, and the average CEO to worker salary ratio is 550 to 1.
brothermikefan Says:
Nov 19, 2009 - @helltrackrider The income gap in this country is proportional to that of a 3rd world country. Alan Greenspan called it a very disturbing trend. Throughout the Bush presidency GDP grew at an average rate of 2.5% while the median income dropped by 1,175. Some say the middle class disappearing. The Stimulus bill gave a tax cut to those making under a quarter of a million dollars a year. Those making more will have the Bush tax cuts expire.
brothermikefan Says:
Nov 19, 2009 - @helltrackrider The only ones paying for the bailouts, the Stimulus package, and the Healthcare Bill are those making a quarter of a million dollars a year or more.
brothermikefan Says:
Nov 19, 2009 - @helltrackrider The once richest man in the world, (65 billion) Warren Buffett has been spending the years from 2006 until now giving away his entire fortune.
brothermikefan Says:
Nov 19, 2009 - @brothermikefan I should have mentioned that the tax cut in the Stimulus bill went to those making under a quarter of a million dollars a year which is 90% of working americans.
brothermikefan Says:
Nov 19, 2009 - @helltrackrider "the Supreme Court doesn't "interpret" the Constitution (as you progressives think)...they rule on it case by case, but, their rulings hold no value for future cases... The Supreme Court interprets LAWS to see if they're constitutional. If they make a ruling on something then that becomes a basis for future decisions. That's why the decision in 1936 regarding taxing and spending for the general welfare remains in effect today.

Nov 19, 2009 - @helltrackrider Got any more questions for the commie FDR pole smoking fuck?
helltrackrider Says:
Nov 20, 2009 - You are a commie fucktard that wouldnt understand personal responsibility if it slapped you in the face... take from those who have (earned) give to those whom have not (havent earned shit)....your altruistic view on life and society is why America is in the shithole in the first place... As far as Capitalism...that was long gone once Hoover/FDR stepped into office...welcome to a watered down form of Communism, i.e. Socialism...
helltrackrider Says:
Nov 20, 2009 - Every other Country provides Healthcare... Well, EVERY other Country also denied FREEDOM and Individual Rights; so they could provide Healthcare in their Society due to the fact that they had Socialist views on life...The rich are only here to serve the rest of us, thereby, assuring that the rest of us dont have any Responsibilities in life... If you took some fucking time to educate yourself on America, you would understand me...but, you take time to smoke Obama's cock only...
brothermikefan Says:
Nov 20, 2009 - @helltrackrider You don't think the middle class earns their fair share?
brothermikefan Says:
Nov 20, 2009 - @helltrackrider The rich are here to serve us by selling us health insurance? Who the fuck are you? Are you a millionare or something? Do you think a corporation would last one second without the blood sweat and tears of the middle class?
brothermikefan Says:
Nov 20, 2009 - @helltrackrider "If you took some fucking time to educate yourself on America..." It seems like I've been educating you dickweed. Learn about the Keyensian Economic Theory which advocates a mixture of private and public involvement in an economy and the Austrian Business Cycle Theory which advocates no public involvement at all. Then maybe you can get your ideas straight instead of shooting in the dark with some shit ideas you made up on the toilet or something.
keefmeister77 Says:
Nov 21, 2009 - On numerous occasions, republicans have tried to put language into the healthcare bill which would require members of congress themselves to enroll in it, but the libs shot 'em down. Case closed.
helltrackrider Says:
Nov 23, 2009 - Keyensian economics is why we are in a fucking mess right now... Austrian economics predicted this and could have easily prevented this... Keyensian economics FAILS miserably... Shooting in the dark ideas? please...explain how so...any ideas that my mouth spews are about private property and individual liberty...nothing else...my ideas all center around the Individual 1) not being a slave 2) owning his own property and 3) having Rights and Responsibilities how hard is this to grasp?
brothermikefan Says:
Nov 23, 2009 - @helltrackrider That's much better. I'll get back to you soon through your channel.
helltrackrider Says:
Nov 23, 2009 - dont bother...im proud to be a TRUE American in the eyes of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin and the rest of the Liberty driven founders... your logic, similiar to the Progressive nuts on the Hill, is the sole reason that many and many Americans are awaiting for ONE State to secede so we can all move to this State... Take from the earners and GIVE to those whom have not earned...great foundation for a society that you wish to not have last for a long time..here we are
brothermikefan Says:
Nov 23, 2009 - @helltrackrider Mr. Hell. I respect that you don't like the kind of society that I like. I also respect the IDEA of the kind of society you're talking about where people should only have what they deserve. I came across that very subject in a book one time. It was in the "Satanic Bible" by Anton LaVey. He called it, "The law of the jungle."
helltrackrider Says:
Nov 23, 2009 - People only deserve what they are entitled to, have earned or recieve through voluntary consent. Noone "deserves" free healthcare, welfare, medicare, social security when that of which they are recieving has came off another mans labor and effort... to think otherwise is Socialistic in philosophy and would therefore classify one as a Socialist... you either are or you arent, no in between with altruism...you embrace freedom and liberty or you are against it.
brothermikefan Says:
Nov 23, 2009 - @helltrackrider Well if you like to talk in absolutes then in this case you are either a Christian or a Satanist and no in between. But that's okay. really.
helltrackrider Says:
Nov 24, 2009 - ha...nice try... first off, one has to have a Religious belief in order to follow this... i, for one, have no religious belief...therefore, you cannot classify me as a Christian or Satanist... Social ideals are not beliefs...either you feel that only YOU are entitled to YOUR property or you feel that others are entitled to your property as well...no in betweens...
brothermikefan Says:
Nov 24, 2009 - @helltrackrider So you think there should be no taxes collected except for the military? Or maybe you don't want to collect taxes for the military 'cuz that's still taking from one person to pay someone else (our soldiers.) No in between, right?
helltrackrider Says:
Nov 24, 2009 - ask yourself...What is the role of a limited Government under a Constitutional Republic? Answer...to protect the Rights of the individuals...nothing more. the Navy is necessary and therefore supplemented by the individuals under this nation...seeing as it serves to protect our Rights from foreign enemies. Now...Social Security, Welfare, Public Education, Medicare, Health Insurance, Food Stamps, Section 8 housing...these are not deemed necessary to "Protect" the individuals Rights...
brothermikefan Says:
Nov 24, 2009 - @helltrackrider Okay. That's something other than the U.S. though. According to our contitution, taxes are supposed to be used to pay our debts, provide for the common defence, and provide for the general welfare.

brothermikefan Says:
Nov 19, 2009 - @helltrackrider We DEFINITELY have a capitalist society. The most capitalist society in the world. Look at our healthcare. EVERY SINGLE CIVILIZED COUNRTY IN THE WORLD provides healthcare to their citizens through taxes. Our citizens buy their healthcare in a marketplace.
