Nov 24, 2009 - Jeez, I'm a huuuuge Abba fan, even more so since im also swedish (abba is swedish pride 3), But Madonna didn't STEAL bits of the song she had gotten permission from Björn and Benny to take that part and adapt it to her own song.

Nov 25, 2009 - Its two bands in history that have managed to make hits after hits, and no songs with failure. Those two are The Beatles and ABBA.

Nov 25, 2009 - Bands with no failure songs but with less hits may also be some prog rock bands. They tend to be great as well. Go ABBA!

Nov 26, 2009 - It's sad that a lot of Americans consider ABBA to be "fag music" IE Dancing Queen, but then are absolutely stunned to disbelief when told that there was a time when they were the #1 band in the world. Yes music does extend beyond the shores of the US-of-A. I love ABBA.

siskhi Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - scuse me. Just so you know this song these so called Swedish Meatballs 'stole' was made in 1979... and the song Madonna makes with this tune in it was made in 2005 and as Wiki says: contains a sample of the pop group ABBA's hit single "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)". Madonna had to write a letter to ABBA songwriters Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus seeking permission to use the song. so there you go..
