Yes, we can say that 20 years ago the tempo was slower but seriously, there are 2-3 defenders on him all the time... "dive. .. .and it has detracted from the sport of football" yes diving has but the better referee protection has improved the game. No more career ending challenges and players getting fouled out the game.

The GOOD players suffered most, how is that prefferable? I'm not talking about diving or soft free kicks, i'm talking bout protection for players means they can play their game how they want. Also, Drogba dives and there's no way he's a "pussy wimp". Theres always been diving. Plenty of tough players around.
