Nov 15, 2008 - This for me is the first song that really showed that Instant Funk trademark sound. Raymond Earl's bass playing really took them to a new level of disco. Too bad their philly sound gets over shadowed by the MFSB of Baker-Harris-Young, etc.., even though I love those guys too. LPs Instant Funk played on by artists like South Shore Commission,Carl Carlton, Johnny Nash, Gabor Szabo from '75/'76 are mind blowing. Sadly IF only did one album in '76, and nothing under their name until '79.
