Nov 13, 2009 - Yes, increasing the storage space doubles the number of colours on screen at once. Also if you get a very quiet hard drive the system will notice this and improve the sound quality. I would definitely recommend getting a bigger hard drive. Watch out for any hard drive with a black and white label on the top of it though - these will actually slow your game down because the PS3 thinks you are trying to hack the servers.
