Oct 20, 2009 - Maybe if you released several hits and became a famous singer, maybe I might listen to you, but first, boy, you'd have to get that stick out of your ass.

Oct 22, 2009 - One of the best and most distinctive voices in country music, and we are lucky to have him. I met Willie in 96', got an autograph, and spoke to him for a few minutes. A truly good person! Nallen 100 is a fool for his closed minded purely ignorant comments!

Oct 29, 2009 - musicians dont always have to have the most amazing voices its the emotion that they sing with, and willie has more emotion in his voice than almost any other singer

Nov 1, 2009 - This video came from the Donahue show in April of 1983. Willie played Heroes, Always, Shotgun Willie, Time Slips Away/Crazy/Nightlife, Blue Eyes, after starting the show with a "unique" collaboration of Mama's during which Donahue sang harmony. Donahue was the Oprah of his day and Willie was riding the whole Urban Cowboy thing, so they kept it fairly clean. The mostly female audience were wearing clothing typical of that period; Willie band were dressed more "informally". Interesting contrast.

Nov 1, 2009 - Willie Nelson is my favorite singer of all time, I hate to say it, even better than some of Johnny Cash's music in my opinion.

Bigbadben7 Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - Many thought Willie wrote this becasue he wrote alot of classics for other artists before he became famous and since many know the 72 Elvis version they assumed Willie wrote it back in the day. It was recorded originally by Brenda Lee. Willie recorded it in 1982 never knowing Elvis had a version. However the Documentary "This is Elvis" came out in 1981 which features Elvis version so by the time Willie's came out in '82 many had heard Elvis version more recently than before.
