Jun 4, 2009 - hey how did you get futurama on to your computer and into editing software. i ripped my futurama dvds and turned them into avi files but it has horrible lines and audio glitches when i edit in final cut pro thanks :) p.s. awesome video, works very well

Jun 5, 2009 - To make a video from DVD footage, an editior specifically designed for MPEG video is actually probably a better option than a more elaborate package like FCP, PPro, etc. What type of AVIs did you create? AVI is just a container for any number of other formats... Xvid, DivX, etc. If you want to edit it in FCP, try uncompressed AVI. You could wait until the show is released on Blu-Ray; which is easier to edit, being progressive. H.264/VC-1 also stand up to re-encoding better than MPEG-2.
