Batman couldn't do AYNTHING to Joker,and Joker Killed Batman's girl,turned Dent to bad side,almost pulled of an attack on mayor,blew up a hospital and created major panic few times. Nov 22, 2009 - Venom never had a chance. He's more of a fantasy villain and even if Sam Raimi wanted to use him, he would have inevitably camped him up with his Evil Dead brand of horror/comedy. I don't think he could have exercised the restraint to play him straight up evil, nor would it have fit the tone of the films.
