Nov 13, 2009 - I was a teen in the ninties.. lots of great music for sure. I feel sorry for the teens now, not much music to choose from. its all sounds the same.

Sean506427 Says:

Nov 13, 2009 - I am a teen now.... And I couldn't agree more... My generation is lacking anything that defines it.... No music No Films nothing.... No body stands out anymore... Nothing orginal. :(

aushimfan Says:

Nov 14, 2009 - Jeff Buckley was grate and it was a sad day for the world when he past away and i agree the 90's had awesome music but to say that there is no good music now is bull true alot of this days music is shit i say go for more underground bands and not the shit MTV rams down your throat

theirishrn Says:

Nov 14, 2009 - jeff buckley had such a gorgeous voice - I wish he were still around today :(

Nov 14, 2009 - wow what a beautiful intro...............kiss me

dowhat93 Says:

Nov 14, 2009 - well theres not any mainstream original music, but theres a lot of great underground music. also we have The Dark Knight. you can't tell me that wasnt freaking epic.

Sean506427 Says:

Nov 15, 2009 - Dark night made, your cinema for this year yes. All the underground stuff i've seen, is either screaming elelctro jammed for the 80's or post punk nonsense that has little relevance nowa day... the noughties, has beeen a dissapointing decade/

TheRockersGirl Says:

Nov 15, 2009 - Perché sono sempre i migliori ad andare via?

kyleleonard Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - Morrissey's the last of the true iconic artists, one of Jeff's idols.

turbouto Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - Happy birthday Jeff :)

21dragon Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - yeah dude... EPIC FAIL!

dowhat93 Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - Well the music of the 00s does owe a lot to bands like Arcade Fire, White Stripes, The Strokes, The Killers, Modest Mouse, the Mountain Goats, and Radiohead (even if their more impacting stuff came out in the 90s) and those are just the more mainstream alternative bands I don't know your taste in music, but if the current authentic music scene has been characterized by anything its these bands Not everything released lately has been emo or overproduced hip-hop

Sean506427 Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - OH yeah, I love those bands. I'm not saying we haven't had iconic bands this decade. Just we haven't had anything different. All those fantastic bands that have shaped this generations music haven't pushed the line... I just feel like now-a-days anything that has the potential to change the way we look at music has been systematicly wiped out.... But hey, maybe this generation is defined by the Rave and the (Falsely named) "RnB" And it is in fact us that are forgotten.. I dunno. New genre needed

funguy29 Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - Dark knight wasnt epic. Apocalypse now was epic.

Garethbanae20iou Says:

Nov 17, 2009 - truth!!! truth bloody truth!!!!!!!

xzaraxnirvanax Says:

Nov 17, 2009 - His voice is sooo tragically beautiful! :(

katieTHEninja3 Says:

Nov 17, 2009 - happy birthday :)

FuckingStanz Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - I like how so many of those bands representing "now" are so painfully plaigarizing "then". The Killers have not an ounce of originality.

dowhat93 Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - yeah and modest mouse just ripped off the pixies and the mountain goats are just copying neutral milk hotel and radioheads just copying aphex twin now right? a band doesn't have to be completely original to be good

FuckingStanz Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - Those are influences, The Killers are a carbon copy.
