Nov 11, 2009 - classic.
itzahazylife Says:
Nov 11, 2009 - true..it's almost as if businesses pay groups to start controversies just so their product is acknowledged..cause really, are there really people out there who would genuinely have a problem with this?..there can't be. they must be getting paid to cause a stir.
itzahazylife Says:
Nov 11, 2009 - no one was hoping to sue..supposedly an italian american group caused the stir..the Carls Jr. chain never intended to pull the ad when they made it. but, when controversy arose over it, u can bet they helped spread that controversy..so, they pull the ad, and easily make the thousands back in sales of the sandwich from those who either seen the ad on tv, or seen the ad based on the controversy..the controversy probably made them more than it cost to make the ad that caused the controversy.

Nov 11, 2009 - I thought this was hysterical! Would love to see a sequel! Bring Hardees and Carls back to Michigan just for the chance to see these commercials on prime time!
PrinceWingDog Says:
Nov 11, 2009 - There is always someone trying to sue, in this case it was this group. They would not have removed it if they didnt threaten. Besides more people have T.V. than internet, and I have yet to see any of this controversy on the news so really, they would be losing business
subtenko Says:
Nov 12, 2009 - yea for real. some of the Italians back then were in the mafia and were the true definitions of gangsters unlike the wanna-bes today. this ad doesnt say all italians are like this or even if those people are true italians. plus there has been this kind of scene in movies...how come the movies didnt get banned? its all bullsh** =(
paulynfl Says:
Nov 12, 2009 - It's called "viral marketing". What they do is they make a commercial, with the intention that it will be viewed on youtube. They don't care if you see it on tv, youtube, or wherever. They are getting sneaky with their ideas of using the media to get you to see their product. Another example of this is the video of lisa lobe singing in the ikea store.
michelemtv Says:
Nov 12, 2009 - qualcuno è arrivato prima di noi lol! But shit because we always give the Mafia!

Nov 12, 2009 - wow you and some others are pretty retarded. did you even read my comment that said "while i think it is STUPID to find this OFFENSIVE, i think it would be refreshing if americans would stereotype other races for once." the point of ALL my comments was that italians are stereotyped/made fun of 98% of the time, while mexicans and french people are stereotyped ONLY 2% of the time. in other words, what makes them so special that they can't be equally made fun of?

Nov 13, 2009 - Look I'm Mexican not Italian so I or anybody else who's not Italian can not say "Its not offensive". I think its funny but If Italians find it offensive, it's offensive! Just like non Native Americans can not say "Washington Redskins" is not offensive. If the group being targeted find it offensive everybody else shut the f__k up
massi68mickey Says:
Nov 13, 2009 - The person that attack and made the stupid complain is Mr. Capaccio, vice president of NIAF. I'm the Italian actor that was on the commercial and I don't think is offensive at all, it's funny. Should they have canceld Soprano, god father, etc etc ? Cmon guys ! Anyways thanks to those complain the ad was pull off the air so you won't see it anymore. SHAME !
massi68mickey Says:
Nov 13, 2009 - Real Italians are fun, down to earth and with very good sense of humor. Mr. Capaccio represent the wrong image of Italians. SHAME ON HIM !
codell23 Says:
Nov 13, 2009 - seriously, they are going to pull this commercial. that is over the top PC BS. thanks america for being so uptight, lets just outlaw laughter and get it over with, someone might be offended at a chicken crossing the road joke.
jffroggie Says:
Nov 13, 2009 - I'm 100% Italian-American and my husband is 100% Sicilian. We laughed out loud at this commerical. It feels good to laugh. More people should try it.

Nov 13, 2009 - I heard that this is the nastiest sandwich ever.. It's not even crunchy and the sauce taste like puke.
xEL3M3NTx Says:
Nov 14, 2009 - Nothing ever looks like in the picture , i ordered a Parmesan Chicken and i got a SLOPPY Burger , smashed bread , little sauce and a slim piece of chicken at was small......FUCK NOTHING EVER LOOKS LIKE IN THE PICTURE
lisa0 Says:
Nov 14, 2009 - Exactly
ambro13 Says:
Nov 17, 2009 - ARE YOU on of those complainers?? its fast food!! duh? does your PIZZA look like the one in the frozen box?
ragazzoshitfuck409 Says:
Nov 23, 2009 - so......you're both basically italian. (sicily is part of italy. sardinia too.)
ragazzoshitfuck409 Says:
Nov 23, 2009 - and it probably cost about 7 fucking dollars with tax, right?
ragazzoshitfuck409 Says:
Nov 23, 2009 - Once again, douche bag, NO ONE is offended by this . Io sono 100% italiano e non mi sono PER NIENTE offeso! Sono anche della sicilia! My point: Americans stereotype Italians constantly, while I have NEVER seen them stereotype French, Mexicans, or blacks etc. They always shed them in a good light. If they would ever show a French being snooty and superb or a Mexican shoving beans in his mouth for once, I can say at least they make fun of them, too. Not only are those funny, but they are true!
ragazzoshitfuck409 Says:
Nov 23, 2009 - Ma sei un po' defficiente di testa, vero? Non si è offeso NESSUNO. E non ne parlare della mia vita e dire che ho bisogno di una vita, perchè una ce l'ho. Andiamo a scuola insieme! Vergognati perchè parli cosi con le altre persone. Sei molto confuso. Non sai scegliere con chi batterti! Sarò io l'ignorante perche tu non riesci a capire i miei commenti? Prima di rimproverare qualcun altro, perche non cresci un po'?

impatientp Says:
Nov 11, 2009 - so does this mean that every time tony soprano orders any meal containing italian ingredients, its racist? get da fock aata eeeere!
