Nov 6, 2009 - What Im getting at is DONT knock legendary bands like the Who, or bands post (before) late 90s. They wrote their own music, learned to play the instruments and compose it all together to make a stage act and out of it all they created a revolutionary movement.
daVincis7thoracle Says:
Nov 6, 2009 - Hell lip-synching is used more and more these days because a most singers only sound good in a studio under filters en such. Back then youd get booted out of the industry for doing such things.
daVincis7thoracle Says:
Nov 6, 2009 - Now only attractive girls and guys are provided with dance choreographers, song writers and perform under the magic of stage effects and sound filters, in and out of the studio.
daVincis7thoracle Says:
Nov 6, 2009 - Music these days is created and fashioned by the music industry and American Idol propaganda. Rap, Rock, Hip-Hop, RB, Country etc. artist are created overnight these days. Music of the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s were REAL groups/bands that struggled to reach success and fame. Starting out in crappy little bars/clubs and working their way into popularity.

Nov 6, 2009 - dzVincis~ Music has evolved, from the writing, performing, the technology, how we listen to it, and even how we interact with it. You don't like how music has changed but that's what it does. American Idol? Please! Throw some makeup on someone, clean em up, and teach em how to sing and you can make em a star. THAT in itself has been going on since before the 50's, perhaps longer. Don't try to say it hasn't. I'm not a fan of hip hop. I'm too old for it, but I can appreciate what they've done.

Nov 7, 2009 - The bassist seems so low-energy compared to Townsend.
punksavedrock Says:
Nov 7, 2009 - When you're the biggest ego-maniac in rock history it's easier to be high energy : P The Who still rock though.
meotoko77 Says:
Nov 7, 2009 - Because at that time it was all about raw talent, nowadays the look is more important than talent.
Hanz780 Says:
Nov 7, 2009 - What can I say.... It's the fuckin' Who.
raizumichin Says:
Nov 7, 2009 - This is the truth. The majority of pop music has always been crap. We remember the good stuff from past decades but forget how much crap the industry produced then. Just like how we will remember the great bands we have today and forget the rest of them.
DickCheneyRules1 Says:
Nov 7, 2009 - Whta the fuck name is Baba Oreilly? must have been some Irish slut

Nov 6, 2009 - It makes me sick when I hear so called music artist (rappers are bad for doing it) steal lyrics from older bands and make it their own this is because theyre talent-less and can not write their own songs. In a nut shell Bands like The Who has earned their respect and if you cant give it then you know absolutely nothing about music and its history. Reality check!
