Sep 11, 2009 - How is answering the question of "where are you" destroying your civil liberty? If you want to use it, it's there. If not, Google isn't forcing you to use it at gunpoint. I think Google just needs to broaden their privacy settings, such as having more detailed control over accuracy for each contact. I think Google also should allow users to choose update interval (having GPS on drains my phone battery). But overall, I think it's a cool service that people have been waiting a long time for.
