Aug 6, 2009 - yes i heard that. But also idealists spread such stories. I wonder if it is energetically possible. Anyways: "people die for oil and so this is the unchanable rule, and so ..." The results are correct. But will people really die for oil? It is the industry that makes money with it. Do you like to live in war? Do you think people in Malaysia would start killing for oil? In my opinion not.too muhc consume anyways. anyone could use a fifth of the energy, i claim. i use 10% ...

EndeavourLaunch Says:

Aug 8, 2009 - Cause we're going back to the moon baby then on to Mars with another spacecraft!

andysim232 Says:

Aug 20, 2009 - I going to miss the shuttle when it goes but It really is so old and high maintanence. Remeber the shuttle was on the drawing board while the Apollo project was winding down lol. If someone found a way to allow the vehicle to return without having to replace all the 1000s of heat tiles im sure we would have a replacement shuttle by now.

Starwarsisme Says:

Aug 20, 2009 - NASA should leave Endeavour, the most recently built orbiter, in service, say to make missions to the ISS or conduct missions in low Earth orbit. They should retire the other older ones, though. As stated in the bottom, though, Russia could resupply the ISS. I still think they should keep at least one operational. I can't wait to see the new Ares rockets in action. Hopefully Obama doesn't cancel the Constellation Program due to budget constraints. Space is the most important endeavour (npi) now!

mach25man Says:

Aug 23, 2009 - Only an average of about 150 heat tiles are replaced between flights. There are a total of about 22000 now on each ship. Many tiles were replaced with thermal blankets years ago.

Aug 30, 2009 - Most of America and damn near all of Congress agrees with you. :)

Sep 7, 2009 - For some reason, Atlantis is my favorite shuttle. I don't know know why I think this, but I have a good feeling about Atantis.

duduspp Says:

Sep 10, 2009 - how forces in the rockets??? in kg

TheMagicalSeaOfDman Says:

Sep 12, 2009 - very cool

EndeavourLaunch Says:

Sep 13, 2009 - GO ATLANTIS AND HUBBLE!

redcliffesk8 Says:

Sep 13, 2009 - Atlantic needs to adjust the formal external fuel tank to ecumelate the air aproxiatilety to find the shuttle 42 degrees to the 3 engines in the throttel system, but overall good job.

labowlabow Says:

Sep 20, 2009 - USA vai se sucumbir em seu desenvolvimento desgovernado

mitrumpetplaya Says:

Sep 20, 2009 - Agreed. I also have no idea why Atlantis is my favorite, but there's just something inherently cooler about her than the others.

pissdrunx999 Says:

Sep 27, 2009 - 1:50 holy shit!!!

SufferInJuly Says:

Oct 6, 2009 - What do tens of thousands of low-Earth orbits accomplish? Should the taxpaying citizens consider these orbits, 300 miles above the planet's surface, space travel/exploration? When are crews going to venture through, and beyond, the Van Allen Radiation Belts?

LaurenFromMI Says:

Oct 9, 2009 - This is great in HD!!!

MrPat1978 Says:

Oct 14, 2009 - It's not specifically the tiles that takes long. The engines are taken out, scrutinize, every system and redundant system is checked and rechecked. High maintenance goes with a really REALLY complex machine.

PianoManCallum Says:

Oct 16, 2009 - so at what point do they actually break the atmosphere?

easuter Says:

Oct 23, 2009 - Damn straight! XD

meekrn Says:

Oct 26, 2009 - there are people out there that still think we make these vidoe's in hollywood, and that we never landed on the moon.

iBuRzT Says:

Nov 5, 2009 - are you talking about the angle atlantis was at when it was taking off? if so it had to be at an angle to catch up with the telescope.

fardhead Says:

Nov 8, 2009 - sounds like my senseo coffee maker wen its warm up :-)

laserfloyd Says:

Nov 10, 2009 - There really isn't a breaking point for the atmosphere. It's gradual though most of it is in the first 10-20 miles I do believe. After that it just gets thinner and thinner. Even in orbit there is enough atmosphere to decay an orbit over time. Well, low earth orbit, that is.

PianoManCallum Says:

Nov 10, 2009 - cool thanks =]

dmtau Says:

Nov 24, 2009 - Space Shutle are the big,big liar in US history. . . .This video clip was making up.We naver come to space with this stupid things. . . .10000000 for sure!Who need to prove it.Dmtau will. .
