Feb 6, 2009 - just have to remember that it is normal. All airliners do this and reduce to climbing engine power, perfectly normal. Read the bad magazines they leave for you, might make you laugh and forget about it :D

Mar 12, 2009 - what u have to remeber is that after the power down, its still very close to full power, just the roar is a lower pitch, its still about 30000lbs of thrust from each engine LOL

May 3, 2009 - Like someone before me has said every airline does it, because it is to do with Climb Performace. Not only that there is a limit of the speed you can do below 10,000 FT which is 250 KNTS, so therefore the decrease in power is for A) Climb Performance and Speed and B) To Stay below 250 KNTS. 11 GTOM it is not to d with runnig out of fuel at all.

May 3, 2009 - NO Airline flys 767-300ER between Standsted and Paphos, your more likley to get them on the LGW/MAN/GLA/LHR to LCA flights. It is a 757, easily recognisable through the sound of the engines.

May 14, 2009 - BA fly 763 on the LHR-LCA route and 734/319 or 320 on the LGW-PFO route. 767-300 of BA dont go any where near Paphos unless LCA is closed completeley.

May 17, 2009 - diversion then from Laranca from Heathrow. BA sent 320/321 to PFO out of LGW up until March last year when they sold GB Airways to Easy Jet. Then they didnt start PFO up until this winter starting with 737 before moving onto Airbus family. BA would never send a 767-300 into Paphos at all. Please i tell you to go onto Airlners Net and do a search for 767-300 in Cyprus. All of them will turn up at Laranca with none at Paphos.
