Jun 20, 2009 - the academy felt sorry for Al Pacino, they robbed him several times at the academy...it happens. I mean Grace Kelly, one of the worst actresses Hollywood has ever seen, won over Judy Garland for A Star is Born. If you've never seen the film, I suggest seeing it, its one of her greatest performances. The Academy only buys into hype, notice how Fincher didn't get the nom for Zodiac but got it for Benjamin Button? Downey also should have gotten a nom then.
