Aug 18, 2009 - Sorry for using that word "rendition" :-) I know she wrote it herself, even though she was not there in Woodstock. She saw the Woodstock "news" on TV and she cried and then she wrote this track. When I said "rendition" I was referring to her other versions of this same song. :-) Cheers!

When I saw Joni sing this in concert,she walked offstage playing it,playing long after she'd left the stage,very haunting!
