Oct 16, 2009 - i wonder if it redirects the heat coming from the engine to warm up the tracks for a bit of extra melting action

Oct 16, 2009 - That's the type of shit I have nightmares about. Hefty train with a big frigging grinder on the front of it. Wouldn't fancy being in front of it.
beeble2003 Says:
Oct 17, 2009 - It's OK. Unless you're James Bond, it's very unliekly that ayone will try to kill you in this way. And if you *are* James Bond, they'll forget to take away some gadget, which will let you somehow stop the plough when it's about half a yard from you. And then a lady wearing less clothing than might be appropriate for the weather will untie you and, in the next scene, you'll be in bed together.
DaemonAnt Says:
Oct 17, 2009 - Erm... i think you've pretty much stopped that nightmare XD

Oct 19, 2009 - Yep. Lynn says they might be using it alot this year if the snow gets bad like it's expected.

Oct 24, 2009 - I wish Norfolk Southern had them and ran them hear in southeast Pennsylvainia.
FallenFear223 Says:
Oct 24, 2009 - its hard to get a perspective of just how far and high that snow is being thrown. Those locomotives are probably at least thirteen feet tall and the snow is flying twice as high as that. That's some serious snow removal :)
snowyphil65 Says:
Nov 2, 2009 - did they use it in cheyenne in the snowstorm last week? We only got about a foot in laramie (pure guess) but i heard cheyenne got more... do they keep any of these at north platte ne?
