Jun 5, 2007 - Jeez, if he has enough time to make a boring video, then he has enough time to listen to a ten second ad. The Google number only has business listings, but 1-800-Free411 has business, residential, and gov't listings. The Google number has no operator support in case the voice system doesn't understand you, but 1-800-Free411 does have operators. It's also pretty rich for a Google employee to complain about a small company's ads when his company puts ads on almost every web page out there.

Sep 9, 2007 - Dudes, Google does not displays ads because he already has an income in another way. So that's what's google is about, creating business models better to people. People get things for free, get a good service and still, google is making rivers of money. That's what I admire about it the most.

Apr 18, 2008 - the "he" would be Google, I'm a foreigner, made a mistake, sorry. Well, I did write that 7 months ago :P and I still agree with it. Google makes ads all over, sure, that's what adwords is about. But it does not make them in an intrusive way, they make it relevant and such. And I don't know if you recall, but before Google bought youtube, they had full banners of adwords on it, so it's actually decreased the number of ads.
