The universe IS a closed system unless you're admiting transcendant existance of a creator (God). If by "open system" you mean sunlight - sunlight is DESTRUCTIVE, the only thing that can take advantage of it is cloroform - A VERY COMPLEX MOLOCULE that could not have possibly "evolved". You should go to a real school - learning your science on web has rotted your brains.

If it were all of the equation - the SUN would be alive. Intelligence is also needed. An animal aging does NOT grow in complexity! as genetic code of DNA plays out in a life they only grow to fulfill that pre-programming, becoming larger, stronger until the limit of the program. systems fail and they die - entropy.

Why on earth are you trying to rationalise the irrational. The fact is DNA does mutate and creatures are more or less likely to survive because of those mutations, thats evolution. The question isnt does evolution exist because the mechanism is there, the question is what on earth do you think stops the mechanism working?

Nov 20, 2009 - Most of the DNA of a person isnt used, as it contains code from ancestor animals thats no longer required. Sometimes a bit of this unused DNA gets switched on producing babies with a small tail, perhaps you think this is a devil child and a sign of the coming rapture. If people were designed from scratch by a super intelligent being, we wouldn't have so much DNA as it wouldn't be needed. There also wouldn't be mistakes in it which lead to genetic disease.
