Also SarahVictor NEVER said they were the same day. Please read the sidebar before posting comments. You're only making Mexicans seem ignorant when you do stuff like that. BTW she did a GEAT job and Kudos to SARAHVICTOR for taking on this look. NONE of the other TOP gurus (like the ones that asked for requests) even attemped it.

Oct 30, 2009 - Well said!! She did an AMAZING job and thanks in part to this tut I was able to do this look today for an event at my daughter's school. I hate it when people feel a sense righteousness just because they're mexican but they still don't know the origin of the celebration of día de muertos. She never stated they were the same BUT as you well said they both have their origin in pagan believes. Kudos to you for trying to enlighten mexicans who don't have their historic facts straight. :D

Oct 30, 2009 - I did this look today and either tracing the lines first with an eye liner pencil or removing the mistake with a Q-tip will help. The only thing is that you'll have to apply the white color again, but it's quite easy. HTH

Nov 1, 2009 - Ok si es pagano porque se realiza fuera de los templos pero reafirmo el halloween es algo comercial y se da principalmente en ciudades y entre jovenes k solo buscan fiesta, solo es un pretexto para tomar alcohol cuando se van a la disco y hacen concurso de disfraces. saludos
