And she says everything exactly the same... like it was memorized hundreds of times!!! Be yourself and just answer the questions on the spot. I have a friend that interviews people all day long, and he says the most common mistake people make is that they ramble on when asked to talk briefly about themselves. He says you should keep it to 30 seconds - 1 minute.

Nov 5, 2009 - Walk in like you own the damn place and that the person interviewing you will be working for your ass in three months. Make them aware that if they do not square themselves away that you will be on them like White On Rice. Also understand that anyone that shows up in a blouse like that is history before they open their mouth. She looks like some sort of camouflaged tropical fish. Here is my suggestion. Nov 10, 2009 - I agree with you LynneDiann82! I used to be great at interviews and ALWAYS got every job I interviewed for. My answers were fairly spontaneous with just a general idea in advance of what I might say. Then I had a couple of really important interviews for great jobs. So I went online and found all the questions interviewers typically ask and I prepared memorized, rehearsed answers. The result was I rambled on too long and it sounded rehearsed. I didn't get those jobs but I learned my lesson!

Nov 10, 2009 - I recently interviewed for 2 jobs (hence the reason I was watching this video a week or so ago). I got both jobs, granted they were part time jobs and fairly simple interviews. Still, I baqsically did the complete opposite of this video and got the jobs. I might make my OWN video on interviews.
